An interesting fun-filled and educational time awaits you at Rookery Open Farm. A safe, clean enironment has been created on this commercial sheep farm for families and schools to enjoy themselves whilst learning about farming methods. Visitors can have close contact with large variety of animals, in the many areas throughout the farm. You are able to picnic inside and out and enjoy refreshing drink from our tearoom, whilst watching your children in the play area. Many of the animals can be fed by hand, this is an activity which allows all our visitors lots of pleasure and gain confidence with animals.

Our relaxed and welcoming atmosphere will encourage young and old alike to learn about our animals, farming and make new friends at the same time. During the lambing season you will be able to experience seeing some of the 2,000 baby lambs being born.
